Seasons on Little Lake is a lifestyle community just over an hour north of Toronto.
With the sales presentation centre looking to target a younger demographic, our challenge was to fuse the convenience of urban condo living with the desire to escape the frantic pace of city living.
Anchored by a cohesive colour palette, the mix of furniture styles reads as a unified whole
The presentation centre's space is visually zoned with a welcome desk, interiors vignettes, a site map and floor plans and bistro tables to facilitate sales conversations. A custom designed screen made from canoe paddles creates an immediate impact on arrival while still allowing plenty of natural light to fill the space.
A colour palette of warm neutrals feels calming, lending a softer, more traditional feel as a counterpoint to the modern look and feel of the kitchen. Zingy, citrus accessories in the kitchen create a vibrant feel. White lowers and grey uppers in the kitchen read as clean and fresh, a departure from the expected “country cottage” look. Use of natural textures including wood, leather, linen, whicker, and cowhide help create a country feel in a sophisticated way. Allocating budget to stylish but durable finishes helped to reassure buyers that interior maintenance will be minimal.
The kitchen vignette feels contemporary while still evoking cottage-casual
