We partner with business leaders to invent exceptional places for people to work, shop and live. Figure3 is currently seeking a Director, Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment, Residential



As a member of the management team, you will manage the FF&E studio in our residential sector, providing leadership and direction for a team of interior design professionals, serving a diverse base of clients and projects. You will report to a Principal.

Key Accountabilities

As a trusted, conscientious, and confident ambassador for Figure3 you will:

  • Drive operational and project excellence ensuring activities are on time and on budget
  • Devise project schedule and detailed workback schedules
  • Assign work, co-ordinate and supervise efforts of team members
  • Conduct project status updates with team providing coaching and support as needed
  • Liaise with Residential Directors for resourcing, project downloads and to confirm project details
  • Review budgets and furniture procurement services
  • Update billing forecast on regular basis
  • Review invoicing and accounts receivable in coordination with Finance
  • Perform accounts receivable follow-up
  • Participate in billable work as appropriate
  • Manage employee performance and development consistent with Figure3 processes
  • Provide guidance and inspiration to your studio team; positively contributing to our culture
  • Proactively communicate with clients, suppliers, and other partners
  • Resolve project challenges, capture, and communicate learning opportunities with the team
  • Recommend improvements to the FF&E studio operational procedures
  • Ensure compliance with Figure3 policies and procedures
  • Other duties that may be assigned to meet or improve on our project deliverables


Ideal Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in FF&E projects ideally for multi-unit residential developers
  • Relevant post-secondary education in Interior Design or other discipline
  • Experience creating and monitoring multiple complex project schedules
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, knowledge of OBC and full construction drawing sets
  • Licensed or accredited by an industry body
  • Project Manager designation is beneficial
